Grandad.Malky
I recognise that there is a need for a little understanding and tact, but unfortunately the totalitarian approach is one of the downsides of making rules which were actually intended to make people feel more comfortable. People don't appreciate mingling with 'hoodies' or people wearing baseball caps (or whatever) so they implement a rule to ban those on their property. Not a problem. . What about those that don’t feel comfortable mingling with people that cover all their face …………… oops playing devils advocate again.

Of course there are the ones who only feel comfortable in the company of others wearing hoods too. Bet they feel right excluded, bless 'em

boyfriday
where can i find the rules for entering meadowhall? It's a shop not a government facility, their commercial interests rely on the good will of their customers. It's one of the con tricks of the 21st Century-herd your customers like sheep and convince them that you're actually doing them a favour by allowing them to spend their hard earned income on your premises. These aren't isolated incidents at Meadowhall, so why persist in going in order to be treated discourteously? Incidentally by placing his hands on you without lawful authority or your consent he committed an offence.
