CreativeA
Not long since moved into our new house and wanting to install a dishwasher....there is a cavity suitable which the previous tenants had used for a tumble dryer. Could anyone with a bit more plumbing awareness than me - I'm embarassed to be asking this, I blame a wooly headed pregnancy brain! - just check over the attached pic and double check the pipes/plumbing looks suitable? From left to right it looks to me like.... cold water feed (no stop valve as such but appears to be a stop screw instead) .....hot water feeds which has been capped off....then waste pipe. Is this correct and will this prove sufficient for those "highly trained" installers that connect it up upon delivery?! There is obviously a plug socket available also, just wanted to double check the existing plumbing situation. Many thanks!!
bladesman 91
looks to me that a washing m/c was there previously as most modern washers heat their water in the machine.
corgigasman
Yes, that appears ok. Would be tempted to swap that speedfit cap end for a compression, looks like it is sat on an existing nut?
