corgigasman
You are right, it is totally WRONG. I have 15yrs no claims, clean licence yet increases every year premium rises significantly. The thing that gets me is that they take 'MY' details (postcode, vehicle, driving history) to 'base' a quote on.......then they put me in a 'bracket' with similar people etc. Surely my 'NO claims' speaks for itself? No. They will use everything/anything to justify your premium rising BUT not take anything into consideration to keep it low. I pay more now than when I was 18 (lol, absolute joke). I appreciate due to 'no win, no fee' claims etc that premiums should go up BUT why should I pay having NOT had a claim........I could understand my premium rocketing AFTER a claim. Insurance companies, MP's, Legal profession .....all vultures IMHO:D

chem1st
You didn't lament the £5000+ fees charged to the youth. Your fees now sound like pigeon feed. You can't complain over a £600/ year bargain rate!

gnvqsos
MP (Member of Parliament.....NOT Military police) Did NOT say I continued to USE solicitor......service was unsatisfactory and over-priced, IMO. As to them being under-achievers..........meaning they do not gain satisfaction for their customers (namely me)....hence....UNDER-achiever. You really need to understand a post to respond with a legitimate argument......but you do not seem capable of this. Spending TOO much time with solicitors ? ? Is it possible to resubmit this as English please?Solicitors do not seek to gain satisfaction for their clients but remunearation for themselves. If the client returns on a repeat basis it implies some degree of satisfaction.I do not spend a lot of time with solicitors and may spend more time with gas fitters,as my business means I need their help from time to time.Solicitors are a little more punctual, and have the advantage of clear communication skills. Stvoider
I am 32 and have been driving on a provisional licence on other peoples insurance for years. Just for fun I went on a reputable comparison website to see what I would be insured for on a £500 car once I decide to get a full licence and....... £2400 (a year) was the cheapest. Ok I dont really want a car but this is crazy! I've driven for 15 years and not one accident or even close.... Plus, when people have added me to their insurance they've onle had to pay the admin charge to add me as a named drived (IE no increase in their premiums). I thought that being older would help but not on my nelly
