RJRB Posted August 9, 2011 Share Posted August 9, 2011 Disempowered,disaffected,dissatisfied,disenfranchised and of course disrespected. I am sick of these words being trotted out by politicians,social commentators,community spokesman etc as an excuse for criminal and antisocial behaviour. Kids are no different over the years and many have to be taught respect for property and other people. Teachers have had all authority taken away and there will need to be a major re think on how the bad influences are curbed. It is a pleasure to meet many children who are courteous and polite.We can't let these majority be trampled over by the feral yobs who roam the streets as gangs. I am all in favour of all authority figures,police,parents,adults relatives,neighbours,taking a zero tolerance approach to bad language,littering,lack of common courtesies,vandalism etc until the unruly elements are knocked out of them.It won't work on everyone,but it will sway some kids who might go one way or the other.
