relost
I Shouldn't be nasty - so I won't. If you (or others like you) try to drum up sympathy - then I will. Fair comment? Is that in response to my post, or someone before me? I haven't read the thread so can't be sure
eurovision
relost that was a wonderful post. Thank you. I think I need to reread it every time I feel like a swig because I find myself buying cans daily. I think much of it is about taste buds. I think one can train one's mouth to crave and enjoy water. If you are already at a stage where you do not like Sprite then that is a great thing! Good luck and enjoy the weight loss and the good feelings that are yet to come! chorba
I never understood why people love chocolate. I never understood why people have a sweet tooth. I never understood why people fall for marketing. But Coca-Cola. I am besotted. Always have, always will be. What's the recipe for Coca Cola? I think some random chemist found it by mistake. Rupert_Baehr
Not aimed at you, relost ... I'm not even sure how that post got near your sig. alkaloid dependency is a complex issue (which could give rise to numerous lawsuits.) I'm not going there. I don't think this forum is going there. you want to talk about dependency? Get real. We're just a bunch of plonkers rabbitting on about things which amuse us. SOsume? chorba
Now that I would love to see. What I mean is: it's a chemist who first discovered the recipe of "coca-cola". He was messing around in his lab. I can't remember the exact story. In fact I can't remember if it was a real story or some kind of legend. If you had the recipe would you be making you own coca-cola at home?
eurovision
Ah I thought you meant a chemist found it in recent years, stumbled across it by accident. There are many legends surrounding Coca-Cola. If I had the recipe. I suppose I would make it for dinner parties, yes! Ha ha!
Rupert_Baehr
The original formulation? I never heard of this. If the 'secret' ingredient had been carrots, would it have been called Coca-Cola or Carrot cola?
PinkJo
You've all forgotten the only drink better than Coke.... Cherry Coke. I love it, it's even sweeter than normal coke which makes it no 1.
