daniel3982
Hi, My friend is coming to visit next month and hoping to take him out into the countryside at Castleton for a day. Seems to be a lot of different companies and a few different routes mind. Does anyone know the return fare (approximately) to Castleton? And can you only use it on the company you travel on (so if it's Hullys then not use First or vice-versa?)... Also I see there is also a route that goes through Ladybower... Would be nice to show off the scenery to him. Can you go one way and back the other on a return ticket?

Mecky
Derbyshire Wayfarer and it's valid for all trains and buses in Derbyshire but it's not very cheap http://www.derbyshire.gov.uk/transport_roads/public_transport/tickets_passes/rover_tickets/derbyshire_wayfarer/default.asp There is a bus to Ladybower but it's a very limited service.
