cuttsie
I'll try and get a copy of the book you mentioned. I used to work for a newspaper and before the texts were printed they went to the 'correctors dept'., although yo Most good book shops have at least one copy of The Ragged Trousered Philanthropist in stock ,as the book is used in many schools and universities to explain the living conditions of the working classes in the thirty,s. As for getting things published its just one of those things you hope could happen but never get round to due to self doubt and some times bad English and spelling etc. Apart from that i have been told that as soon as the wizzkids at the publishing houses get some thing that is hand written it automatically gets rejected.
