PIERRE HOLLINS

The only other ‘proper jobs’ he’s ever had were washing dishes in the House of Commons, labouring on a gas pipe line in Qatar, in the Middle East, and teaching drama to the mentally ill.

He has been an audience favourite on the comedy circuit for many years, and has headlined at clubs throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

In the early days he worked as a support act to Lenny Henry and Rory Bremner; appeared in the West End with Rita Rudner; and toured with The Flying Pickets, and Willie Rushton & Barry Cryer.

His relaxed amiability is defined by a compelling conversational style and absurd guitar posturing. His 'songs' are jokes that rhyme, set to a guitar backbeat, never travelling down the easy route of song parodies. He covers topics from love and hate, to sex and politics with a totally original voice, delivering his material with charm and irrelevance. ‘Always enjoyable and often inspired’ (The Source). He ‘should be made the mayor of a small village’ (Shanghai City Weekend).

‘An unsung hero of new comedy. Don’t miss this true professional at work. Bloody funny.’ TIME OUT

‘A crowd favourite with a stage presence and delivery style that is the envy of many of his peers.’ HONG KONG TIMES

‘Wild and wonderful.’ VENUE

‘A ‘must see’...’ THE GUARDIAN

‘Hugely talented, hugely experienced, comedy maestro.’ KOMEDIA

‘Should be made the Mayor of a small village.’ SHANGHAI CITY WEEKEND

‘Comedy rock and roll heaven.’ HOT TICKETS

"Soon to be huge!" IRISH TIMES

"Crazy, man!" NME

JAMIE SUTHERLAND

This Wigan based scouser will keep you amused with tales, stories, and all his own teeth.

Since launching himself into the comedy world two years ago, Jamie has established himself on the comedy circuit, and is now resident compere at two clubs, Global Comedy and The Brinsop Comedy Club.

An act who has the ability to adapt to suit any event, Jamie has played to audiences of four, up to four hundred. His act is enjoyed by many, and he is very well received playing to mixed rooms.

JOHNATHON MAYOR (MC)

Simply fabulous darling! With Jonathan Mayor it's all "Me! Me! Me!" and you can see why. Why shouldn't such a fabulous ball of glitter and glam be the centre of everyone's world?

Jonathan Mayor is one of the rising stars of the Manchester alternative performance scene, making regular appearances not only on the stand up circuit, but also various gay or black minority events and performances.

Jonathan's path into full time stand up was largely due to the landlord of the Bulls Head handing over his highly respectable establishment for the camp riot that is Jonathan's Tuesday night quiz. This quiz quickly evolved into a night of comedy and cabaret with a few questions thrown in. It was here that he was spotted and encouraged try the alternative stand up circuit.
