Can't Britain just close and say we are full up?

Ooo..more innuendo, rather than facts.

The facts are hidden or not collected, because those in power are doing all they can to hide them. Plus the facts that are out there are discredited or ignored by the liberal appeasers.

Any reasonable person would want its nations own people in work and in decent homes rather than giving those jobs and homes to people of other nations.

Ah I see migrants all follow the work so in the boom years they came and in the tough times they go to find the work elsewhere. Do you think anywhere near the levels of inward net migration seen since 1997 will leave during the tough economic times?

Why are you anticipating such tough economic times when you have the Government you've wanted for years. That almost looks like a recognition that we've tended to have more growth during Labours time in office than when we've had the Tories.

Anyway to answer your point, that would depend whether those that have come have been hit by the recession, as they can't claim Unemployment Benefits then those losing their jobs will probably return, whilst those who have retained it and whose employer is happy with their work will stay.

A bit like the millions of Britains working abroad.

Do you have a thought on the 675,000 Brits living illegally in Spain and taking advantage of the Spanish Health Service.

Surely if we took all our illegals back and sent all theirs back we'd increase the overcrowding.

So did you see the Crimewatch Special on the riots last night? From London to Bristol. From Salford to Birmingham. The CCTV indisputibly showed the rioters/looters were overwhelmingly black.

If it was in the Daily Mail, you'd trot out the usual SF nonsense. This was the BBC.

How are these brits living in spain illegally? Looks to me like they have bought homes in spain and live off pensions earned in uk?

plus they are creating work for the spanish, not taking spanish jobs as they are retired with a british pension a private home.

I think you'll find the overwhelming evidence shows these people as poor from all colours.

Now radical that it may seem but why don't we do something to address why people are so poor instead of introducing legislation that makes them even poorer.

Being the BBC you can bet they showed every white face they could find.

Quite a way down it indicates only 375000 have registered formally as they don't want their Spanish collecting their taxes.
