tasha_78
I was in the Girls Life Brigade in the 60`s and remember our yearly parade in the Town Centre where we formed up in Paradise Square of all places. I remember being at the bottom of the hill looking up to the officer who was stood at the top of the square shouting instructions. We then paraded around town before going into the Victoria Hall for a thanksgiving service. I can only remember the first 2 lines of the GLB hymn, can anyone remember any more. It goes like this..... "The GLB shall ever for Christ and service stand We know He is our master, we......... heart and hand.......

hillsbro
Thankyou so much. Wherever did you find it, I`ve searched all over the net.Glad to be able to help. When I Googled the first line that you wrote, the only result was your post! So I missed out "The GLB" and Googled "shall ever for Christ and service stand". This took me to this page which has an incomplete version of the words (scroll down), but when I Googled some of the words that were there I found the page I linked to. Needless to say, I wasn't in the G.L.B..
