alisoncal
what's the best family day out you have had during this Summer's school holiday? Visited Crich Tramway museum today & spent most of the day riding up & down on the trams which was lovley. When we were leaving we followed a lady who was moaning that all there was to see in the museum was TRAMS! (the clue is in the title; Crich Tram museum, Doh!) kittenta
I'd say, so far, it has to be Knowsley Safari Park. Had a fantastic day there, kids loved it, Baboons loved my car .
Bludragonfly
I'd recommend Clifton Park in Rotherham - lots to do and most of it is free. Even the rides that you pay for a reasonably priced. If you go on any day except Friday there is also a lovely museum

jenz245
We enjoyed yorkshire wildlife park. But our best days out are at clifton. Its about a 45 min bus journey for us but so worth it. We have been nearly every other week. We went on Monday and spent £13 including 11 rides, Burger, 2 chips, 2 drinks A coffee and a couple of quid on the grabbers. The kids am movies have been a hit but they only last half a day

You could go to the alpacca farm at ringinglow and if the weather is nice you could walk back through forgue dam and eccassall road.
salmonbones
Not a day out i'm afraid, but 4 nights out. Camping just outside scarborough, including 3 days in scarborough.....was great, and the kids loved it - especially crabbing.
