jamesey Posted August 20, 2011 Share Posted August 20, 2011 hi ive just bought a 2000 grand vitara 2.0 td with the rf mazda engine , first i noticed there wasnt any glow plug light , then after a day or so it wouldnt start it just turned over , after 4 turns i gave up , later in the day i called the guy that id bought it off , he came to my house and guess what it fired up no probs , he said it might be a key immobilizer problem and to carry both keys together , its been ok today ive been out once in it but it does crank a while before it starts. ive taken the dash display out to find somebody has taken the glow plug bulb out , i replaced it and now when i turn the key it illuminates all the time from when i turn the key and while driving , its not flashing just on all the time , before i takle the car dealer does anyone know what it could be?? thanks in advance , jamesey Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
