MN2006 Posted August 21, 2011 Share Posted August 21, 2011 I am in the process of trying to set up a new 5 a side team to play in a mid week evening league. Even though the idea is to play in a league, the emphasis would be very much on just having some fun. As I am 36 and have personally not played for about five years, your ability is not important. Plus I never had trails for anyone when I was younger! If you are up for a game of football each week and a few laughs then that’s the main thing. My idea is to make a team from a collection of individuals - so you will not be joining an already formed group, we will all be coming into it from the same position. I'm also 36 + not played for 8years but would love to steadily get back into it & play regularly. I dont take it too seriously and would expect a few miss-kicks & laughs along the way. Even having you on the books as back up would be more than helpful m8, it's understandable that you might not be able to come every week, I'm the same when i go to some away games it can't be helped.
