Can asylum be revoked once the threat has been removed ?

Hmmm, that's not really an answer.

It would be interesting to see what percentage of people moaning about this and saying such things actually contribute anything towards this nation.

That seems like a reasonable answear

How much more do you think this nation can do?

A better question is how many of the 1 million 25 year olds and under who are british and out of work would not be, if we had not allowed 5 million various types of immigrants into this nation over the last decade.

Not really their fault that the government made such a hash of it now is it.

Not really the governments fault there's so many lazy people coming to the country to claim benefits, There fault for letting them in, in the first place

I guess ..

But they wont do those jobs and without all these migrants you are so keen to get rid of the country would grind to a halt.
That's the attitude that causes the problem.

They would do the jobs if we didn't have a mindset among the lower classes that they are entitled to too much. Re-education will help, as will a firmer hand in cutting benefits if they refuse menial work, but whatever methods used we do have plenty of people to do those jobs.

Since we're talking about asylum seekers here I guess you'll be able to tell us how many of those immigrants were granted asylum? You wouldn't have such a strong opinion if you weren't in full possession of the facts after all, right?

I think you are right, we could have pro and anti Gadaffi Libyans settling here.

Firstly war criminals won't be granted asylum (part of the treaty).

Secondly in order to claim asylum the seeker has to prove that they are in danger of being illegally killed or tortured.

So simply being pro gadaffi in a post gadaffi Libya wouldn't be sufficient. Is there any evidence that the new government will allow the ex judicial killing or torture of people who supported the previous government?

And how many people are we talking about that have fled the gadaffi regime and sought asylum here?
