smithy266
We (England) are probably one of the few countries not to show our patriotism.

nightlight59
We (England) are probably one of the few countries not to show our patriotism. some of us do,but most are sheeple who cower to the liberal marxist philosophy.
smithy266
No, I do not mean nationalism, I mean patriotism, proud to be English. What's your problem with that?
ronthenekred
No, I do not mean nationalism, I mean patriotism, proud to be English. What's your problem with that? Tell me, do you drive around in your Ford Fiesta with a pole and flag on the top advocating you're proud to be a Ford user? It would be a bit dim would it not considering most Fords are identified by Ford decals on the front and rear. You're in England, you're English, your passport says so. But more importantly..you had no choice in the matter. Flag flying is nationalism imo, not patriotism. 3 uncles dead in the 2WW, father fought in 2WW, Grandfather served in 1st and 2nd. Never flew a flag once. I guess they were liberal lefty Marxists. The day our children are ordered to stand in front of a flag at school with their hand on their chest dribbling some mantra about how proud they should be is the day we lose our freedom. smithy266
I think you might have a problem Ron. I am English, proud to be English, and fyi, drive an English car. You are adding far too much drivel to the topic, which simply asked about a flag.
ronthenekred
Off Ebay? It's probably been made in China I do hope you had a resuscitation kit ready when conveying that sentiment.

Quinnwok
It is interesting reading these posts. Guess it shows how abused our national flags have been and are by various political parties.
