stupid head Posted August 27, 2011 Share Posted August 27, 2011 I'm guessing your wanting these to release after a wedding. ? It's not going to happen, turtle doves aren't like homing pigeons, you can't release them and they will fly home, buying a pair from a pet shop and releasing them would almost certainly be consigning them to a lingering death too. I know someone who could supply you with a couple of fantail pigeons that would make an excellent substitute, you could release these and they would land a few feet away where they could be picked up again, you could do this several times till you got the shot you want.
