Glamrocker
do you think the Jurassic Park scenario could ever come to fruition in these days of ever increasing knowledge i.e breed a fully functional living beast from ancient dna
donkey7159
There are still a few remaining Dinosaurs roaming this country disguising themselves as The Labour Party.
Stan Tamudo
There are still a few remaining Dinosaurs roaming this country disguising themselves as The Labour Party. There's still a few remaining Dinosaurs in High Green as well, disguising themselves as human beings.
Number Six
It's inevitable that at some point it will become technically possible but I suspect the problem will be finding DNA that is sufficiently intact. Or you could just get some triops - they've been around 220 million years. Toy shops sell them.
carosio
According to these people, it wasn't all that long ago that the Dinosaurs roamed amongst us: http://creationmuseum.org/
Odin's Wrath
Scientifically speaking birds are dinosaurs so the argument about bringing dinosaurs back is a failed one! This would be nitpicking by me though and I don't intend on ruining a great dinosaur discussion before it's even started. In regards to eventually cloning, breeding dinosaurs from their DNA. We've already worked out how to bring back wooly mammoths (inserting dna into elephant eggs I believe) but we're wondering whether it would be ethically sound to do so. I say we should get everybody from one island or continent (Maybe Madagascar) to move and we just breed loads and loads of ancient animals and watch what happens in some kind of twisted reality Tv show. This idea will probably make me the richest man on the planet
davyjones
Madagascar already has its own fair share of unique animals, you'd be better off doing it here

Odin's Wrath
Wasn't it The Cat from Red Dwarf who said "Wilma Filntstone is probably the most desirable woman who ever lived." Followed by Lister stating "You must be mad. She'd never leave Fred." In other news, the Family guy creator is remaking The Flintstones.
