SiSiSi
Got to agree with the OP. The same is true when boarding a bus, they wait until they get to the driver before starting to rummage through a handbag for a purse. Meanwhile, the rest of us are stood in the rain behind them. samstar999
Why do people EVEN get cash out is my question? MY OH is always going to the cashpoint, invariably when we've just LEFT the flippin supermarket - where he could have got CASHBACK. I hardly ever worry about carrying cash, not because I am a member of Royalty but because everywhere takes switch these days. Maybe that's jsut me. Bulgarian
Why do people EVEN get cash out is my question? I prefer to have cash to go to the pub or out for a meal.
Jeffrey Shaw
everywhere takes switch these days. Maybe that's jsut me. Yes, it's just you. Not everywhere takes 'Switch'; and I don't think that any cards even show 'Switch' any more.

No, the old Switch cards are now Maestro cards, I've had one for years
Daz33
Why do people want a receipt after taking their money out? Are they going to swap it if they don't like the colour?
Jeffrey Shaw
It's not a receipt, anyway. The ATM gives us the money, not vice-versa!i
Jeffrey Shaw
No, the old Switch cards are now Maestro cards So the woman concerned would presumably need a Maestra card.
samstar999
All right - whatever, switch is the generic name for debit cards my mistake!
