taxman
Depends what the kiddies like. I've always found Indian restaurants are good for kids as are Spanish and Italian, cultures that don't regard children as an incumbrance.

jenz245
We have took our little one to Amigo's mexican kitchen (currently shut for refurb) food is amazing our daughter is two but whilst we were there their were another 2 families each with kids ranging from say 6-12 the fajita's seemed quite a popular choice for the kids. Amazing food and really cheap. We have been to alot of the chain resteraunts too like zizzi, frankie and benny's, nando's etc but Amigo's is so nice and definatley the best mexican food I have had. Asturcelt
La Mama, on Abbeydale Rd. Tapas for all. Staff very friendly with kids. As tapas are small portions you do not to spend lots, and is fun to eat & share. Fully recommended.
curriechick
Relish on Ecclesall Road, there are always lots of mums with babies and toddlers in there and they seem to be made very welcome and the food is delicious. The Frankie and Benny chain are also very good, providing a good activity pack to keep the little ones amused and also a good childtrens menu. dry_riser
Ask is good chain option. London Club was excellent for my 6 year old daughter. They did a special small (and rare) steak for her that she loved, and we could just about overhear the chef in the kitchen saying 'That special plate is for the little girl'. She felt very looked after and quite liked the underground semi glitzy setting. Not the cheapest but pop your head in and see what you think. You'll know from the atmosphere whether you and your little ones will like it.
