partypixie Posted September 1, 2011 Share Posted September 1, 2011 a work colleage went on a weekend to lake district - they rented a cottage for the weekend and went to one of those go ape centres - apparently lots of fun was had by all. depends on what you want... would definitely go out of town though, newcastle is a good crack, as is dublin, edinburgh and liverpool. We got one for a friends stag do, on the Braunston Canal. 12 berth, excessive alcohol and no drink drive limits on the waterways. Couple of pubs on the way, and potential for people falling in.
