I am trying to organise 1 of my 2 hen dos. The party one for me and my friends is sorted now I need to tackle the difficult one - the family!

I've got Mum, Mum in law, aunties, few friends and bridesmaids, one will be 17.

Was thinking meal and drinks somewhere lively - do not want to be sitting in my seat all night! Want to eat, drink and some gentle dancing. Any suggestions of restaurants that will cater for my needs/party?

So far thinking Cubana? Or a themed night at Baldwins/Garrison?

What do you think? Any ideas?

Please help!

I was going to say Cubanas, but you already thought of that!

Also I have been to theme nights at both Garrison and Baldwins. Personally preferred the Garrison, had a better atmosphere.

If you fancy doing anything else too, Spa 1877 is fun.

Viva Tequila's is a laugh.

I went on friday for my Auntie's Hen do.

Our age's ranged from 16-75 and we all enjoyed it.

You all pay a fiver deposit so on the night the meal only ends up been a few quid.

People tend to meet in the red lion before the meal too.

I have been where they have had both a disco and a singer on and have enjoyed both. The disco probably would suit a hen night more. The music played was current chart, alot of cheese (dirty dancing, grease, glee), 80's and Motown.
