I was amazed and very reassured to see that every morning without fail, before the rides opened, there was a guy walking along the roller coaster, checking everything out. Maybe such rides should have to display a record of actions taken and 'inactive periods' as well as servicing, and then at least, the public would be able to make a more informed decision. After the recent accident at Bridlington, if I'd known that a ride I was thinking about going on had been closed the previous day or so before, I'd think twice.
