I grew up with my nanan all my life and she passed just before my 18th Birthday so when I could get a tattoo I got an orange butterfly. Because she used to love sitting in the porch watching all the butterflies in summer and her favourite colour was orange. She probably doesn't like me having a tattoo though lol. Bulgarian Posted September 1, 2011 Share Posted September 1, 2011 A tattoo doesn't have to have some kind of personal meaning (unless you want to be on Miami Ink), it can just be something you like. People used to look genuinely dissapointed that I didn't have some heart-wrenching tale of how I chose my tattoos, now I just make something up on the spot, like "My dog got run over by a steam-roller and this reminds me of him" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
