maxandpaddy Posted September 1, 2011 Share Posted September 1, 2011 Does anyone have any old photographs of The City General hospital Sheffield which is now the northern General?..I am very interested to see what it looked like..i am led to beleive it was some form of Workhouse and Childrens home?.. HeadingNorth Posted September 1, 2011 Share Posted September 1, 2011 You are correct in that the site used to be a workhouse, but I have no details and certainly no photographs. I have in the past, spoken to old people who refused to go to that hospital because they remembered when it was a workhouse.
