John X
Given that a fair few EDL supporters post on here, will any of you be going to Tower Hamlets tomorrow? By all accounts it looks like the whole thing is going to be a disaster for the EDL with people pulling out left, right and centre and many buses having to be cancelled due to such little interest that even deposits for the coaches can't be paid. Coupled with that, the march has been banned and most of the pubs being used as 'muster points' have closed for the day and even Sainsbury's whose car park was to be used for the 'rally' have told them that they are not welcome. Are there any EDL supporters that have decided not to go, who and would like to explain why not on here, especially as the organisation will probably collapse within a month if only a couple of hundred turn up tomorrow when they are expecting 2,500? VideoPro
I'm going to a reggae sound system party in Hamburg's Stadtpark instead. Much more fun. There will be crazy dub sounds, Red Stripe beer, JA food, spliffs and pretty girls.

John X Well seeing that the marches were banned its no surprise that people are not turning up ,your suggestion that buses are cancelled because the edl are "pulling out" seems to contradict the points you have raised about the banning and nothing to do with edl chosing not to go.Blimey i believe this was covered quite a few days ago when the bans were announced ,you really do seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel to get your non views across,I daresay your friends in the BNP and EDL will come up with something to feed your publicity drive for them ask Ian Im sure he will be forthcoming. Re the OP this has got to be in line for the stupidest title for a thread this year considering the banning order..... Well done Johnny boy
stupid head
I was going to go, but then the missus reminded me i'm not a bigoted racist, which is true, so a pointless journey really.

Not exactly! The EDL facebook threads are full of posters slagging off The Met, the Home Office and Teresa May and declaring "The streets are ares", No Surrender and "We will be there with you", but when the local divisions try to get money off people to pay for coaches they get a whole load of excuses and not much enthusiasm. Even EDL organisers are admitting publicly that the turn-out will be low and practically begging people to go! The EDL are falling apart with internal bickering. Sir Tommy has billed this march as the 'big push into the Islamic heartland' and has forecast 2,500 to attend. With nowhere near this many likely to attend and any that do will be wandering around trying to find a pub that will serve them I suspect any future 'protests' will not happen. Given that getting drunk, shouting and throwing things at people* seem to be the limit of their activities, I guess we've probably seen the last of them. Are you still proud to be a nationalist? John X * and making complete idiots of themselves on youtube, of course!
