He was fostered by my Grandparents for a number of years and my mum would love to find out what happened to him. I'm afraid her memory of dates and facts about him are very vague, but this is what we know of him..... He would have been born in Sheffield between 1937 and 1943. He did have siblings, possibly a few sisters. He attended Firth Park Grammar School and possibly prior to this Longley Primary. He lived on Edensor Road whilst being fostered, with Bob and Vera Stafford and was fostered for at least 5 years by them. My mum, Josephine Stafford has fond memories of him and a wealth of lovely photographs. He left their family when he was about 15 or 16 and joined the Merchant navy. Thats about all we know really.
