Bennydazzler
Can anyone tell me if you can legally ride a 125cc motorbike if you passed your CBT on a moped?
Ghostrider
As long as you are over 17, the answer is yes...

Ghostrider
If it is still the same as when I did it, if you do your cbt on a 50cc then you can also use a 125cc. A quick google tells me the same thing...
Grandad.Malky
I will ask my son when I see him, I don’t know if he did the test on a moped or a motorbike ………… are there separate tests?

esme
if you passed your test on an automatic bike you can ride an automatic bike without L plates if you passed on a 125cc bike and have been riding for 2 years (I think, I'm not 100% on that) then you can ride any cc bike of the same type you passed on so if it was an automatic you can still only ride automatics if you strap L plates on you can ride a geared bike up to 125cc as a learner and you have the same restrictions as a learner i.e no motorways, no pillion etc... pretty sure this is the case but happy to be corrected
