Classic Rock
I was asked to help out some mates this week in naming their new band and what I thought would be easy, really isn't as some names sound ridiculous and others just don't match the type of music they play. Let's say you had the chance to name a band. It could be a rock band, a pop band, a blues band, any type of music you could come up with. What would you call it? The only rule here is that the band can't exist anywhere else in the world and you need to say what type of music the band would play.

flamingjimmy
I know this is slightly against the rules in the OP but still... I saw James Blunt on some panel show and he claimed that when he was younger he used to be in a band called 'Limp Willy and the Disappointments'

muddycoffee
.. The only rule here is that the band can't exist anywhere else in the world and you need to say what type of music the band would play. then it is almost impossible as almost every word has some kind of band or artist named after it. To have a new name you need to make words up.
chem1st
ES40. In honour of UB40. I'd do a cover of their song 'One in ten'. It would be called ONE IN FIVE. Unless we were playing in Tottenham and a few other areas affected by the riots, and then we'd have to sing ONE IN TWO.
