Hopman
I saw this headline and thought of the class of students who attend our beloved Central University Neepsend Tip Site: Tourist complains about sight of fish in harbour Most holiday makers taking a stroll around a working harbour might expect to see the odd fish. The full story is from the Telegraph: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/travelnews/8743065/Tourist-complains-about-sight-of-fish-in-harbour.html#dsq-content I think this is a story for the Forum's award winning Victor Meldrew Formation Exasperation Team. All together now!

All together now! Oh lordy, what have you done Hopman, one of The Star's journalists (students), will be plagiarising that and using it as his own, but the outraged will become "Tonia from Maltby*" and 'library' will be substituted for 'harbour' and 'books' for 'dead fish' * with apologies to all the fab, bookworms in Maltby who happen to be called Tonia

iansheff
You couldn't make it up, a man has complained about a “distressing” smell – of FISH, in a harbour. He says there were 12 crates of dead fish and crabs at the side of a trawler that had recently docked. He also says it's not the thing you want to see, there was a real stench. My children were distressed, these people should be more considerate to the holiday maker. Nobody made him walk on the harbour, does he think they teleport the catch to the market. Mind you I like the harbour masters comment at the end of the article. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/weird-world/2011/09/07/tourist-complains-that-fishing-port-smells-fishy-115875-23401154/
