stupid head
Well there's proper vinegar and then that crappy malt waz, the reason why i can't stomach f+c outside Sheffield, it's just not the same without non brewed, and you can't put that wazzy malt crap on food. Eww.

I don't know of a chippy that doesn't sell non brewed, well at least not in Sheffield, though it's labelled non brewed rather than "chip shop style". ! denlin
I'm sure Morrisons sell it but all chip shops do as well although it beats me why anybody ruins a perfectly good meal by slapping salt and vinegar on it:gag:
carosio
It has to be called "non-brewed condiment" or (if they called it vinegar) the sellers would fall foul of the Trade Descriptions Act. I understand that it's a watered-down by-product from crude oil refineries; malt vinegar of course is a by-product of a brewery.
Tasai
Try walking in to the chip shop and buying it there.... when we once ordered 12 lots of fish and chips they threw two bottles of it in for free
julesmarie
The Costcutter in woodhouse sells it, and its a bigger cheaper bottle than you can buy in chip shops.
