flamingjimmy
It seems as though Jesus was a nice guy who cared about other people, so of course he was left wing! Duh!

Big time
He was a capitalist, ever heard of the book of profits?
HeadingNorth
There are numerous passages in the Gospels which clearly point to Jesus being a communist, and numerous others which equally clearly point to him being a capitalist libertarian. Choose the quotes you want and you can justify your argument, either way.
salsafan
Yes he was! I always called myself a "socialist" and I knew that I was and could have been a Christian nut if I wanted it to be, but I think I am really a Buddhist at heart. I think anyone who have a slight moral inclining is really a potential religious follower/ socialist. The rest with no consideration or any altruisms in their blood are just walking zombies with a cold heart.

callippo
I doubt he had anything to say about Muslims, they didn't exist until 300 years or so after he died it's more like 600. Islam was the last of the monotheistic religions to get out of bed, by a mile. Together with Christians, they always had it in for Jews and Zoroastrians that thought it first. nobody really knows for sure whether it's Judaism or Zoroastrianism that was the first monotheistic religion in the world.
