boyfriday
I really do not see how you can be a Muslim and moderate. I think you really need to be a scholar of Islam and know and understand its followers before arriving at that negative conclusion. I don't know much about Islam and know relatively few Muslims closely, but they and all the Muslims I've ever met have never struck me as being extreme in any way. Mecky
it's also very clear about this "In Islam, creating social discord or disorder, breach of peace, rioting, bloodshed, pillage or plunder and killing of innocent persons anywhere in the world are all considered most inhuman crimes." But does it say don't do it?
just_words
The problem is, moderate Muslims just disown and deny the Muslim extremists, rather than dealing with them themselves. Well, in Pakistan a good majority are trying bravely, but over here, their just in denial!
Plopqwerty
plenty of the same old stuff, but your not answering my questions. IS the Koran supposed to be read litrally? yes or no? IS whats written last more important than first? IS following Sharia law a basic requirement of being a muslim?

just_words
Is a moderate Muslim moderate if they do nothing to stop others committing atrocities in their religions name?
Snook
Can you explain the Taliban then? I see the words, but the actions don't always match in the Arab world... There are 1.5 billion muslims around the world. Do you really believe that 1 in every 5 people in the world want to kill the other 4 just because they don't believe what they do? Is there any evidence of these 1.5 billion people all being violent or aggresive?

Have I claimed 1.5 billion Muslims are all violent or aggressive, NO! EDIT: You know how to take a quote out of context to fit your agenda! My quote is a specific question to another persons comment, which was nothing to do with your leading drivel!
