Sid Umpley
30 quid is half a tank full. unless you have been very very lucky there is a real good chance that your looking at a lot of engine damage, if its a newish car with common rail tech CDTI etc then potentially you can expect to be looking for a new engine. sorry to be the bringer of bad news. but petrol in a diesel engine is an almost sure fire way of killing a car. carltoncdx
Keep topping it up with diesel as often as you can. What car is it? Most car will be ok with upto 30% petrol in them before they go pop....if it's still running you should be ok. @oldskater Half a tank £30????? Maybe on a bike!!
