"These type of offenders" should be jailed for a very long time. Scum like this filth are an affront to decent society. Getting kicks by making heinous posts over a beautiful girl who commited suicide is just plain wrong, end of. Wish they had jailed the scum for 18 years instead of 18 weeks. I've seen a lot of posts that I would call insensitive, but not many that I'd consider to be vindictive. I'm assuming that what this man did falls well inside the latter category. What he did was just to hurt people who are already hurting, there is no other reason. I wonder if he started out trolling forums. Two people already have, by saying he must be mentally ill rather than just nasty. If he's mentally ill, prison is the wrong place for him; but I see no evidence that he is. They are saying on the news that it is down to our old friend Asperger syndrome. I really dislike how this syndrome is used as an excuse over and over. Asperger's syndrome, if true, might explain why he wasn't aware that his comments would cause offence - up until the first time that someone told to beggar off and stop posting offensive material.
