bobsdadsbro
You have to do the hard work on line and then say to the travel agent can you match that ………… never failed yet. i agree. we find ours on the internet then phone round the agents and they always match or beat it by a few quid.. fruitisbad
coming back from mexico they had overbooked the flight, they offered us flights the next morning, taxi back to a nice hotel, £100 cash and £600 worth of flight vouchers for the future. not great for a cheap holiday up front but great if you want to treat yourself to a holiday later on in the year
HarmOKnee
Try http://www.sunshine.co.uk I've found that Tunisia is quite cheap. Just did a search & came up with this: 5th - 12th Oct (7 nights) Thomas Cook airlines Flight £247.50 pp (including taxes & baggage) Riadh Palms Hotel, Sousse (4 star) Double room all inclusive £132.01 pp Transfers £9.13 pp Total £388.66 pp If you want in-flight meal they're about £7.50 each, each way. I can recommend that hotel, clean, comfortable, right on the beach, entertainment and food is really nice (if you don't expect burgers & chips). Hoping to go again next year. sally_sheff
alpha rooms.com are really good! they are only based on eclesall road - go online , put in your dates where you want to go and choose flight and accommodation. Uusllay best about 3-4 weeks before going. Last week flights to purtugal for 5th october were only £23 return from manchester but now doubled, can sill get flights for about fifty odd pound though and lots of accommodation to choose from. They are reliable and even covered ash cloud when that was ongoing
callippo
you can't necessarily expect a cheap price, just because there's a recession. The companies anticipate falling demand, and reduce capacity. At the end of the day, if you are not ready to pay the price of jetting off somewhere semi-tropical, then just go to Skegness.
