How Do You Get A Cheap Holiday??

And then complain that it wasn’t the Ritz. :hihi:

Regardles of price there are certain standards to be met, if you feel that they aren't then it's up to you to pursue the matter.

If you follow the correct procedure you will stand a very good chance of being compensated which then makes it a cheap holiday.

But as I said most travel agents will price match, if time is of essence be prepared to turn up at the airport with a printed bar code off your computer and hope that all goes well.

Went in a thomascook travel agents to get a price for a flight, they quoted £570 for basic seat, I asked them for a print out and went home, I then went on THEIR website and booked the same flight with premium cabin seat for £507.

Jobs a good un.

shop around, its that simple.

we booked our summer holiday about 3 weeks ago and by shopping around we found the same holiday for approx £150pp less through Monarch rather then going through one of the other companies that offered the same hotel/flight/dates package.

More back door increases regarding Cyprus holidays, first it was transfers extra, then it was in flight meals extra followed by no free beverage )including water) with evening meal in half board hotels (Alcohol has always been extra) now it is charges for hold baggage.

If you've paid for a package holiday in a named hotel with a holiday/travel company surely it is within the fee to take you all the way to the hotel.

At £25 PP in a forty seater coach from Paphos airport to your Paphos hotel that works out at £1000, the holiday company pay a fraction of that for the transfer coaches.

We always have a hire car waiting at the airport.

Spend a bit of time online shopping around and be totally flexable with the dates when you want to travel.

The prices that you see on teletext for instance are not the final cost, trading standards in Sheffield went round travel agents telling them that it was illegal to add on extra charges to those posted in the window.

Are you talking about a specific holiday operator?
