irenewilde
I remember years ago some new neighbours (who were only young) had some outside, and they drove us mad, one night my husband got up around 2am went round and cut them down and threw them in their bin. No-one ever said anything. And vandalising someone else's possession seemed like a good idea rather than asking them politely if they could be moved? Has your husband got anger issues? lady gaga
I really can't imagine a windchime so loud that one in a neighbour's garden would prevent you from sleeping! Oh i can assure you it does! Just like some people carnt sleep when the radio is on or with a loud ticking clock. put one outside ur window on a windy night! RainbowAngel
I love them, i have them over my house door and shop door and about 4 dotted about my garden. The tinkle of them is lovely on a drafty night.
irenewilde
Have you? you are the one who is having a go at people on here..... Yes, because my post was full of anger wasn't it? Sheesh. I was just pondering on the possible reasons why someone would do something so petty and spiteful instead of actually talking to the people about the problem. Nataliie
Ooh I love windchimes! I've got a huuuuge one that I got from Spain and I love it.. but I have took it down the past few days because of the really bad wind (don't want it getting damaged). To be fair I think my windchime is a lot less annoying than the old man next door constantly whistling and the yappy dogs that are ALWAYS outside a few doors up. Cyclone
I really can't imagine a windchime so loud that one in a neighbour's garden would prevent you from sleeping! If you have poor quality windows and are a light sleeper then I could see it.
