alex3659
I would like to know who invented the windchime? so i can hunt them down and torture them just like they have done to me! and more to the point why do people buy them! I have been kept awake all night thanks to next door neighbours windchime racklin all night and am now a right grumpy sod. I think the person you are looking for may have been dead for quite some time. I heard he committed suicide after suffering years of tinnitus. I have been kept awake all night thanks to next door neighbours windchime racklin all night and am now a right grumpy sod. I think they originated in south-east Asia. I also think you might have a problem hunting down the person who first introduced them as he's been dead for a few hundred years
Joanl
I love the bamboo type ones. Went to Japan a while ago and it was so peaceful hearing them in the night air. Big ones, little ones.....so distinctive.
Joto
We once had a neighbour with one, everytime I washed the dishes I would give it a dirty look, it drove me bonkers Anyway our neighbour ( who was a policeman) must have seen me looking at it disgustingly, because he asked me if it was annoying me. I said yes actually, he took it down but said if ever the Mother-in -Law visited he'd have to hang it up while she was there.
