Travellers at Dale Farm in Essex

Recommended Posts

If the kick them off of Dale Farm and back on the road it's just putting more crime back on the streets.

Plus the fact that they own the land.

And have grossly flouted the law.

They are in pretty good company there. From the middle ages to the present day.

Perhaps they will be the Nobility of the 22nd Century.

If you or I built a structure on our own land and it didn't conform to planning law, it wouldn't be long before we were served notice to remove it/alter it or face the consequences, as many have discovered to their cost.

what difference does that make, PLANNING PERMISSION was required,

it was refused long most of them had arrived there.but they still came, ask them who they bought the plot off of and when.

my wife bought a plot 20yrs ago and thats still as it is we abided by the law

so should they

It seems Dale Farm have to abide by the same planning laws as all the rest of us

Apply to build something...and then let the local authority decide...then abide by the rules of buying arable land and not building land...

Correct!...........and lets get it right, they are not Gypsies or Travellers in the true sense of the words, they are "Settlers"!(Dunroamin) who like the rest of us settlers ,must abide by the rules, especially if it's a choice piece of land you want to settle on and build!
