EstherSiesta Posted September 14, 2011 Share Posted September 14, 2011 The Sheffield Catholic Quiz League is looking for new teams for the 2011-12 season.PLEASE DON'T BE PUT OFF BY THE CATHOLIC PART OF THE TITLE...THE QUIZ IS GENERAL KNOWLEDGE.Teams of four play head to head on a home and away basis and the teams themselves take turns at setting questions.THERE ARE NO BEER VOUCHERS OR CASH...it is purely friendly competition and a trophy at the end.We are having a fixture meeting on 20th October at St.Vincent's CMS club on Solly Street at 8.30pm.The venue has a bar as do the other venues used..we find that helps us think better!
