terminator Posted September 16, 2011 Share Posted September 16, 2011 Why on earth would you need to bleed the brakes when you have the pads replaced? Sounds like you've been to a dealership! (and had your pants down) Maybe mechanics apprentice forgot to take his foot of brakes when he removed them . Should not ever be any need to bleed system just because your having new pads.Not unless there was already air in system.God done thoudands cant remember once having to bleed brakes just because of pad or shoe change unless like i said there was a existing problem.If new cylinders are fitted pipes or seals then yes would agree.
