aelfheah
Two people meet, get to know each other, go all the way, wisely with condoms etc. But, for those who would/do from the off, at what point in a relationship would you not use protection in order to enjoy a fully gratifying sex life? Asking for a medical certificate could offend your other half's feelings?
Grandad.Malky
Good question ……………… having had the same partner since I was 17 and she was 16 it’s a problem I have never come across.
Karis
The only truly safe sex is saying NO As you can never really know what your partner's up to. Sadly, there's an awful lot of trust in a relationship, but I know many couples in long-term relationships that still use condoms. Edit: Because you never can be too sure... If they are using condoms because they can’t be sure it’s a surprise the relationship as lasted so long.

Grandad.Malky
Wearing a condom when having sex is like riding a motorbike on a treadmill. And what is Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Genital herpes, Syphilis or HIV and AIDS like?
Agent Orange
And what is Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Genital herpes, Syphilis or HIV and AIDS like? Best to get checked out before removing it from it's package. The same would apply to the new partner, but without the package. Or maybe not, if we are going to be PC about this

nightrider
If they are using condoms because they can’t be sure it’s a surprise the relationship as lasted so long. um presumably they can't be sure other methods being used will work given no method is 100% fool proof? Thus if they use two methods it reduces the risk of an accident. So maybe you are being somewhat cynical...
