Frank Sidney
I think the Wickes on Rutland road has far to many disabled parking spaces; how many disabled people at any one time do they think are going to visit their store?? I always think that when i go there. Its stupid...
sumayyah
Nobody should block a disabled parking bay which is needed by a genuine disabled person. Here we have the problem. A lot of people with badges are not disabled. I'm not claiming you aren't but some aren't. I know people who have badges but aren't really disabled. Its all part of the plan to get a publicly funded mobility car. Genuine disabled people suffer because of the people who are on a scam... how do they manage to get high rate mobility when they ask for information from the persons consultant and checks by a physiotherapist? RootsBooster
Aye, Disabled parking, it should be made law, and punishable with a large fine - say £200 if you park in a disabled bay without due reason. Wonder how many idiots would infringe on disabled parking spaces then, with no reason. Regards Angel. ...how about an eye for an eye, use a disabled bay and have your legs broken? Billy Casper
Personally i think they (the government) should be more stringent when handing out disabled badges. I know someone who has one, yet walks half a mile to the pub and back when they want a drink! There seems to be a lot of cases where they get handed out too easily.
