Sheffield Forum crumbled to a second defeat of the season, this time at home to Cadbury. More changes were made, Nathan Jenkins returned from suspension at the back but Kevin Carroll was injured and was not available at all for selection. Matthew Corker did play but was uncomfortable throughout, he took the place of Joe Appleby at left back while Paul Croft had his first start up front.

Forum started on the back foot early on before losing Liam Wales to serious injury after around 15 minutes, meaning a change of positions and first sub being used.

Just before half time, Cadbury took the lead after some neat one touch football found the forward through to finish in the bottom corner for 1-0. HT: SFFC 0-1 Cadbury

The second half started along the same lines but Forum started getting into the game with Cadbury hitting on the counter. Sheffield Forum did pull a goal back when Paul Croft sent through Daniel Sheedy who cooly slotted past the keeper to bring things level. Shortly afterwards, Sheedy was again played through and was just beaten to the ball by the keeper but unfortunately in Sheedys attempts to get to the ball, he injured himself as his knee gave way. Having used Andy Coates, who took the place of Phil Gill, Sheffield Forum had to drop to 10 men as Sheedys knee ballooned up.

Cadbury started attacking again as gaps appeared with Forum trying to cover the empty space. Ashley Proctor almost gave Forum the lead, getting on the end of Crofts cross after battling his way through down the left hand side, Proctor sending the ball narrowly wide. Yet again, injury hit and Proctor in his attempts to get the ball pulled his hamstring. He stayed on the pitch for a short while but struggled to play.

Meanwhile Cadbury grabbed a winner when a throw in was cleared only just outside the area and a shot was hit in the corner of the net. 2-1 to Cadbury.

Couple of minutes after, Proctor left the pitch after not being able to run at all leaving Forum with a 4-3-1 formation. Forum contained Cadbury for this time but hardly saw any of the ball as Cadbury were comfortable playing between themselves.

FT: Sheffield Forum 1-2 Cadbury

The game leaves Forum with only 1 win in 3, facing High Green Rovers next weekend. More worryingly is the fact that after the game, we found out Matthew Corker has 2 broken ribs and will be out for 2 months. A major blow to lose such a good experienced player. Also without Liam Wales and Daniel Sheedy (ballooned ankle and knee respectively) while Ashley Proctors hamstring could keep him out. Kevin Carroll (foot) is hoping to train but doubtful at the minute. Joe Neate is still out but hopeful he will soon make an appearance as he recovers from his groin injury.
