Ousetunes Posted November 22, 2005 Share Posted November 22, 2005 In 1987 I went to these nightclubs/pubs at least once each: Gossips, Isabellas, Maximillions, Al-E-Cats, The Roxy, Cairo Jax, Josephine's and Sinatra's. That's more in one year than in the 18 years since. (Another thread was asking where you can get a pint of Harp Lager from. I recall visiting the Rutland Hotel and drinking a pint of Harp in their bar - this will be around 1987.) Occasionally we'd leave the West End and go down West Street. Pubs then were: Rockwell's/B-Hive; Mailcoach, Hornblower, Hallamshire, Red Deer, West Street Hotel, Frog and Parrot. Usually our group would rush back to the West End for last orders, 10.30 in the week, 11 Fridays and Sundays IIRC. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
