First it was Car Road Tax, Now TV Licence By Size

Recommended Posts

The new "first year" tax with over 255g/km CO2 is £1000

But that's not what they posted, they actually gave chart where highest bracket was £460, so where did £900 come from? We have 2.1 diesel and our tax is about £200 for year

So the TV license is going to be judged on TV size rather than whether you can receive a signal or not?

If so then the BBC should no longer be funded by this money at all, as the TV license (BBC license) reasoning would no longer be relevant. And so the whole BBC tax would also no longer be relevant.

All this silliness needs to end, there is really no longer any need for this face to be funded from out own pockets.

However, from a distance, a bloke driving along in a 100 to 500k car will on the whole look the business - fACT

Only to the other plebs who think in the same way. The rest of us just think "Wow what a tosser"
