Tony
"Between 1959 and 2009, there was a 69% decline in the number of public sector completions." Between 1959 to 2009? Surely you aren't claiming that the post war mass housing projects to clear slums are the benchmark for today?
LDeville
This couple don't live in a shed- they live in a wooden small house which for which the main house owners do not have planning permission. If they wanted to live in a shed then they shouldn't have paid £14,000 for a shed big enough to have separate rooms. Just because it's made of wood doesn't make it a shed, any more than the 4 bedroom log cabin I used to stay in regularly is a shed! Hi Agreed. We would not like or want people living down at the botomm of their garden and this is why planning permission is needs. What about council tax payments, water, sweage, tv licence, etc, etc and over crowding in the area. just imagine you live in a nice area, with nice gardens to front and back, then at 02-00hrs you start hearing "goodnight ?? goodnight ??, goodnight ??, see you.. see you dad,etc,e,tc"????/ If you notice behcaviour of thisn type, report to the cpuncil asap and demand action and timescales as the longer it goes on, the more will jpoin in making money like this. Bying housing in noce areas is very expeisive relatively. If our son wanted to but a home and could not afford it, we'd move in rent free, even if it meant he had to sleep in the dining or livingroom and store his furntiure. There is no need to be so selfhish
