2? As many as that, eh? Well, perhaps that's their quota for the year then, just to try and prove Obridge isn't stuckup about social background.
My son from a very working class background, got a double first at Cambridge and became friends with lots from all social backgrounds while there....he never applied to "Obridge" so can't comment!

I would have thought that was blatantly obvious as it would allow us to ask them why.

I've asked the people I suspect voted yes (including your good self) for this information and the consistent response has been to ignore the question.

I can't think why people won't give us this information unless they are an embarassed about their reasons.

is the defualt option on polls to see, or not to see usernames, I SET UP THE POLL, me personally, if the defualt option is to hide usernames that is what the poll is now, i didnt go looking for options to hide usernames.

in fact if any admin read this can you please make the poll show usernames please. you have my say so, as i originally started the poll before being merged.

i would be happy to see the names listed as it would shut titanic and mecky up for a few minutes before they started some other lie as to why the poll is flawed or the country doeant appear to be with their thinking.

my prediction is im going to say mecky will appear and say im actually david cameron and am using the scrapped nhs 12 billion pound computer (thanks again labour for that bill)

to make sure the poll is won by by people with common sense.

You might be happy, but it's not your choice now. Admin (rightly) won't change it.

if it is one of the options on the poll settings i dont see why not. it makes no difference to me as i apperently could have used the settings anyway (if titanic is right ?) so making no differnce to the poll or its outcome

I know at least two who've got into Oxford and Cambridge in the past two years and went to a bog standard comprehensive school and were brought up on Warrington council estates.

Agreed. Why do the Labour-ites play on the class issue so much. ANYONE can get into Oxbridge with the right grades, it just happens that many from private education get the grades mainly down to the dumbed-down, prizes for all education system created under the Labour Government.

Is there anyone on here who can seriously defend 13 years of Labour Government? Anyone who can justify a roller blading community coordinator on 20K a year? They like to create jobs to boost the economy, but don't know how to pay for it.

How ignorant is it possible for you to get? You're just trolling and a very poor one at that. You're not even thinking about what you're saying.

Nothing’s so clear-cut or simple folks (that's why socialism is a failed concept doomed to further failure wherever people try to apply it, but that's another story).

Brown's been a Marxist for many years. He and many of the other left wing Labour cronies knew that their key to elected position was to used Blair and the deceptive veneer of 'New Labour' to get back into power as a supposedly moderate party, then get straight back up to their own tricks.

Brown may not have tried to follow the pure tenets of Marxist ideology, but his heart was there and a lot of the damage he did was the fallout of his old core beliefs.

There are countless links to Brown’s Marxist beliefs but here’s a nice right-of-center tabloid article for you to ridicule to your hearts’ contents.

Gordon Brown a Marxist!!!

'Doctor, he's out of bed again...having delusions this time as well.'

'There's only one solution Nurse...we must stop him reading the Daily Mail...OH NO he reads the Express! Poor man...you poor poor man.'

I and others have already identified ourselves as responding 'yes' to the poll, and we have already plenty explained our reasons for doing so.

Nope sorry, I've just searched your posts and I can't find your reasons for defending this Government.

Post 8/9 indicates you trust what you are being told, that isn't the same as supporting their policies.

So a simple question for starters, millions of Benefit claimants are having their money cut whilst those who caused this mess are getting off without any pain.

Do you think this policy is correct?

While I would not in any way question the skill and value of a paramedic, are you saying that no trader/merchant/businessman should ever be able to earn much more than a paramedic?

Would you include, say, the owner of a hundred retail stores who employs a thousand people?

Not at all, I'm saying people have certain skills which will be renumerated.

If your skill is being able to buy and sell things at a profit, then you are going to be much more renumerated than if your skill is to save lives of Men, Women and Children.

You may think this deserves to be the case, I don't, but respect your opinion.

The cutting of benefits yes, the ones that caused it got unelected and are now apologising and trying to change their party to make them electable again.
