Quote - Conrod:

There are countless links to Brown’s Marxist beliefs but here’s a nice right-of-center tabloid article for you to ridicule to your hearts’ contents.

Well, he told you it was bait and you still went for it :hihi:

Just as you went for mine.

But you have misunderstood his post anyway.

Gordon Brown a Marxist!!!

'Doctor, he's out of bed again...having delusions this time as well.'

'There's only one solution Nurse...we must stop him reading the Daily Mail...OH NO he reads the Express! Poor man...you poor poor man.'

As alluded to above, you took the hook nicely. But, think on it a little more:

Yes, Gordon a Marxist.

This quote from a Yahoo discussion board sums it nicely:

"Gordon Brown has destroyed the British economy

He is creating anarchy by starting; class war, racial conflict, public service vs private and gender wars.

He has transferred sovereignty to the totalitarian EU state.

Gordon Brown was a Marxist at university

These are the three tenements of Marxist philosophy;

Destroy the economy, create anarchy, out of the chaos build a new totalitarian state.,

That makes him totally successful in his ambitions".

Are you aware of the Fabian society? Wiki is a good start http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabian_Society

But I think these are pretty spot on:

if it is one of the options on the poll settings i dont see why not. it makes no difference to me as i apperently could have used the settings anyway (if titanic is right ?) so making no differnce to the poll or its outcome

If being identified in the poll was the option at the beginning, some members who wish to main anonymous might not have voted. It wouldn't be fair to change this poll now, so no, Admin won't do it.

Please tell me that you aren't seriously suggesting that a quote from a Yahoo discussion board trumps over 150 years of political study of Marxism?

Gordon Brown is not a Marxist and anyone who suggests he is, is either an idiot or a wind-up merchant!

Do you deny that he was an active Marxist when he was younger?
