green
Thats what everyone does. You get up every morning to go to wherever it is you work to earn money to feed, clothe and house yourself(and your partner and/or kids if you have them). We all look out for ourselves, but the beauty of the system is that our selfishness works to all our mutual benefit. Do you see? No i dont. I worry and fret about our future generations and how badly the system is continually to work against them. I abhor the Establishment and how over the last 30 years, democracy is being eroded in this country. I make a decision to inform the truth on boards like this, and protest publicly whenever possible. Dont you see, some of us are different. Some of us care.

Conrod
Well Conrod, you look out for only yourself then, and fubar this countries future generations, with your angst & mis-information.Heaven forbid that any people might be capable of looking after themselves, rather than needing a bloated state to do everything and make every decision for them. That's the sort of concept that has socialists and communists waking up in a cold sweat isn't it?

green
Yea you care, and you spout and you protest, but you're not actually doing anything, are you? Well i beg to differ with you Tony. UK Uncut in 1 year has raised massive awareness of the issues of tax avoidance. No one had any idea a year ago, of the deals HMRC did with Vodaphone, Goldman etc. Now we have the HOC Committee in Parliament actually calling Dave Harnett a liar and asking why these deals were done etc. Virtually every political programme brings the issues up and its being discussed & debated. Tony
You appear to be in a different bubble to most people. They say that first sign of madness is believing your own press.
green
You appear to be in a different bubble to most people. They say that first sign of madness is believing your own press. Do you deny that tax avoidance hasnt been on the agenda within the media of late then? The second sign of madness is not seeing what is in front of you. Tony
Do you think that you put it there? But regardless of that or how people legally mitigate their tax liabilities, we should all be paying less tax, not more.

I1L2T3
Heaven forbid that any people might be capable of looking after themselves, rather than needing a bloated state to do everything and make every decision for them. Your success as an individual can only go so far. At some point you will need services and infrastructure provided by the state. What do you think the state should provide? A simple list please.
